Artisan Pearl Sugar Liège Waffle dough
There is nothing like a freshly made pearl sugar Liège Waffle hot off the iron. The small pieces of pearl sugar caramelise during cooking creating tiny pockets of syrup. Our handmade dough is laced with pearl sugar and allowed to slow-rise before freezing. Once defrosted and given a second rise the waffles are light, fluffy and above all ridiculously moreish.

Real Belgian Pearl Sugar
Making a Liège Waffle means using pearl sugar. A special type of sugar drop that’s designed to caramelise and melt at high temperatures in a waffle iron. They can also be used in other baking products.
